Opinion Props are portable structures to transport one's opinion into the public sphere. Within a mediatised public, it is difficult to spread a message, as one has to compete with advertisement and a general flood of information. In workshops with local artists and students we would like to elaborate on strategies, techniques and practices to place slogans and images into the public realm in an effective and creative way.
16 October
Presentation of the results and documentations of workshops and interventions.
Nepokorennie Studio (Nepokorennie prospekt 17/4)
OKK/Raum 29 is an artist run platform for cultural activism based in Berlin, Germany. Aim of the initiative is not the support of single artistic careers, but to provide a basic structure for artists and citizens to join an open network for topic specific activities. OKK has been the home to various participative, collaborative and socially engaged projects, as well in their local neighbourhood Wedding, as well as in other parts of Germany and abroad.
The project is supported from the funds of The Year of Germany in Russia.
